We call ourselves a
synagogue family because we truly are one. We may have one of
the longest histories as a congregation in Milwaukee, but what we
prize most is that we have one of the closest synagogue families.
Everything we do – from praying to learning to educating our
children and adults – is geared to being a community who are there
for each other in all aspects of Jewish life.
Under the spiritual
leadership of our Rabbi, Tamar Crystal, and our Religious
School Director, Debbie Intravaia, we encourage all who wish
to participate in Jewish learning and practice to join us in our
weekly Kabbalat Shabbat and Shabbat services, weekday minyanim,
religious education, adult education, Family Shabbat services and
cultural events. We also have many other opportunities for
participation including an active Sisterhood, award-winning Men’s
Club, Social Action Committee and Choir.
As a Conservative
congregation, we are egalitarian, participatory, welcome Interfaith
families and those who wish to learn more about Jewish tradition and
practice.
