– Join family, friends and neighbors in celebrating the Eighth
Annual Beth El Ner Tamid FUN RUN/WALK. Registration time is from
8:30 am to 9:15 am. The cost is $18.00 (includes a commemorative
tee shirt) for runners/walkers and $36.00 for sponsors. Make checks
payable to Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue. Brochures are in the foyer

The Yizkor Sermon and Service will be at 10:45 am. The Simchat

– There will be ‘Mah Jongg and Munchies’ at BENT from 10:00 am to
2:00 pm sponsored by the Women of Emanu-El. The cost is $5.00.

– Join us for this interesting two-part series on Conservative
Judaism taught by Rabbi Berman at BENT. Class one will be ‘The
Triumph of Conservative Judaism’, tracing its roots in Germany to

October 30th.

- The Sunday Night Discussion Group with Rabbi Berman will meet at
the home of Morris & Lorraine Klein. There will be a presidential
debate with Morris Klein as Barach Obama versus Mark Litow as John
McCain. A map will be in the BENT office or it can be emailed to

– There will be weekly Hebrew classes with Rabbi Berman.

– There will be weekly Parsha classes with Rabbi Berman on ‘Prophets
and Current Events’.
Yoga Classes
are held at Beth El Ner Tamid with instructor Jan Halonen. Yoga
will help you reduce stress, increase flexibility, build internal
body strength and enhance the immune system. The cost is $11.00 per
class. The time is Monday at 9:30 am. Call Bobbe Abrams at (414)

The Social Action
Committee needs volunteers to help
prepare and deliver meals with the St. Vincent de Paul Center for
people in need. This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to
participate in a “Social Action” program. Those of you, who are
willing to cook and/or serve, please contact Nancy Kellman at (262)

consider supporting this important initiative with a donation.

Sweeten Your Loved One’s Rosh Hashana
– This Sisterhood fundraiser is a sweet deal. Katelyn’s Honey of
Burlington, KY will mail 8-ounce jars of natural honey to your
relatives and friends for $10.00 per jar. All the honey is
harvested fresh; FDA inspected and certified Kosher by Rabbi
Kalmanson from the Chabad Temple in Cincinnati, OH. For more
